So much great stuff in here, especially for landscaping sustainably. Will have to check out from library again just to get more from it.

This 2011 publication is filled with excellent sustainable gardening information. good, but exhausting when read all at once. there are always pros and cons to every decision one makes, especially when it comes to making ecological choices. i'm taking this book more as a starting point for decisions. i'm sure the ideas will just simmer for a while until i actually get started on gardening a bit more, but for now, just reading this book was mentally crippling.

Helpful advice about compost and succulents. Also, helpful hints about ground covers.

Very informative on many aspects of gardening in US and UK, sometimes even beyond a urban gardener. Really enjoyed reading this book.

I did enjoy this book, though for me it was more theoretical than practical. There were some good tips and facts that I was previously unaware of, so I learned a lot.

Throw this book across the room. It was nothing new or insightful and all the information could be easily dredged from the internet. Something more thoughtful and informative required.

You'll just have to read Library Journal to find out.
