used in the classroom to teach - overall a solid textbook with good examples. Felt like the nervous system chapters were written a league above the other chapters regarding the level of detail covered. Those same chapters were all repetitive and the info seemed a bit spread out. The info is there though, so overall, a good text.

he coordination between narrative discussions and corresponding art has been tightened to improve clarity. The clear, concise explanations lead readers through complex processes, helping them keep sight of the big picture without getting lost in the details. An Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology, The Chemical Level of Organization, The Cellular Level of Organization, The Tissue Level of Organization, The Integumentary System, Osseous Tissue and Skeletal Structure, The Axial Skeleton, The Appe [...]

lol. Ok so I'm being funny. But in all honesty this book is like the definitive go-to guide for most med students!

clear with great illustrations and explanations.

My daughter purchased this as a required text book for a class she was taking. I was impressed by the book and the interactive aspect. My daughter appreciated the text as other texts she had seen in the past confused her more than taught her.

now THIS is a page turner ;)

To be perfectly honest, I haven't actually opened the book this semester. But I did read it the first time around.

School is fun!

Read the first half for A&P I, a rather punishing elective.

Well it's one textbook I'm hanging onto so it can't be all bad I s'pose!

The Hip bone connects to the knee bone. The Knee bone connects to the leg bone. Overall a fairly bombastic and complicated plot

Sits on my night stand. Such good pictures!

i'm reading the eighth edition though

SOOO glad to have finished this class!!!

Yup.

good

Gooooood

is to use in cases of lack of time and for lasy days. it does not great for learning nor reviewing just for survival. defenetly not for proper med student

The textbook for 3 quarters of Anatomy and Physiology. Comprehensive, general knowledge. Worthy if interested (this version is not the current version)

This was actually a really well written textbook, and although it was a TON of work, I learned so much about the human body this year, that I will hopefully use for the rest of my life!

so far have learned about bones, muscles, medical jargon, blood, the heart, the senses, the skin, will complete with the rest of the body's systems
